MAINTAIN YOUR PE LICENSE AFTER PASSING THE PE EXAM

After years of qualifying work experience and months of studying you finally passed the PE exam.  What happens next?  After earning a professional engineering license and officially calling yourself a professional engineer it is important you maintain your PE license.

Continuing education requirements vary from state to state, but most allow online continuing education courses allowing professional engineers to earn PDH (professional developoment hours) to renew and maintain the PE license.

Engineers can check our PDHNow licensing page for state specific PDH and CEU requirments and PE license renewal timing requirements.  If you are licensed in multiple jurisdictions and need help determining the most efficient approach please give us a call.  As an example, Texas requires 15 annual PDH and an annual license renewal deadline, but Florida requires 18 PDH with a biennial renewal.  Many states also have specific requirements around the number of engineering ethics PDH or state law and rules PDH.  We can help!

As a professional engineer you have worked hard to get where you are.  Let PDHNow help you maintain and manage your PE license renewal, and don't forget to check our PDH Discounts page.
