Continuing Professional Competency (CPC) Requirements
Continuing Education or PDH is known as CPC in Missouri
A summary of the professional engineering continuing education requirements mandated by the Missouri Board For Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Landscape Architects is located here.
1. Personal Development
Missouri defines the purpose of its continuing education requirement as “to reinforce the need for lifelong learning in order to stay current with changing technology, equipment, procedures, processes, tools and established standards.” Qualifying activities must have a clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the professional engineer's field of practice. The PE licensee is given flexibility in selecting among a broad range of subjects that are intended to strengthen or maintain competency in technical, managerial (business), or ethical fields.
