Attention all Florida Registered Professional Engineers, your 2023 PE license renewal deadline is quickly approaching. All Florida PE are required to complete license renewal before Februrary 28, 2023, which requires 18-hours of PE PDH continuing education, with 1-hour on Florida Law and Rules and 1-hour on Engineering Ethics.
PDHNow also offers Florida Advanced Building Code Online Courses for the Professional Engineer to the latest (7th) Edition of the Florida Building Code.
PDHNow is approved by Florida as FBPE Provider Number 0006408 and License Number 596.
Effective as of the 2024 North Carolina PE and PLS license renewal, Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors will need at least 1 Professional Development Hour (PDH) in Ethics or Rules of Professional Conduct. North Carolina previously only required 15 hours of continuing eduation with no engineering ethics course requirement. PDH Now is an approved professional engineering continuing education provider. 15 US States have PE license renewals due on December 31, 2022 including Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Wyoming.
Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, and Wyoming Professional Engineers are all required to complete 30 hours of engineering continuing education. Iowa, New Mexico, and Ohio further required 2 Professional Development Hours in Engineering Ethics.
Alaska requires 24 PDH while Mississipi, North Carolina, and Texas require 15 PDH. Mississippi PE are also required to complete 1 PDH in Engineering Ethics.

Once again Professional Engineer license renewal deadlines are here. Many states require Professional Engineers to renew thier license in the month of December.
Starting with Illinois in November with a PDH requirement of 30 credit hours.
Mississippi, North Carolina, and Texas Professional Engineers with a December PE license renewal date are required to complete 15 continuing education credits with Mississippi PE requring one PDH in Engineering Ethics.
Alaska Professional Engineers are required to complete 24 PDH before December 31.
Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, and Wyoming Professional Engineers are each required to complete 30 PDH before December 31 to complete your PE license renewal continuing education credits.
Ohio and New Mexico Professional Engineers must complete 2 PDH in Engineering Ethics.

PDH Now is an Indiana approved professional engineering continuing education provider, CE12800047. Indiana requires all PE to complete 30 Professional Development Hours. Texas Professional Engineers your March and July PE license renewal deadline is quickly approaching. Texas requires professional engineers to complete 15 hours of PDH continuing education each year. Next up for Professional Engineer License Renewal Deadlines are Michigan in October and Illinois in November, and then many states due in December including the states of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carloina, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and Wyoming, which all have a PE license renewal requirement before December 31, 2021.
Michigan and Illinois Professional Engineer license renewals are evey biennium with a requirement of 30 PDH. These two states do not have an ethics or state law requirement and PE are not allowed to carryover any professional development hours into the next year.
Iowa, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Ohio Professional Engineer license renewals are required to complete an 1 or 2 engineering ethics PDH course. Make sure to check out our PE Ethics PDH courses to satisfy this requirement.

Next up for Professional Engineer License Renewal Deadlines are the states of Texas, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania, which all have a PE license renewal requirement before September 30, 2021.
Texas Professional Engineer license renewals are due quarterly with an annual requirement of 15 PDH. Be sure to check with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers to determine in which quarter your PE license renewal is due. TX PE are not allowed to carryover any professional development hours into the next year.
Louisiana Professional Engineer license renewals are due in March and September of each year, with a requirement of 30 PDH per biennium with at least 1 professional development hour completed in an engineering ethics course. The LA Board of Professional Engineers should be contacted to determine the exact renewal date of your individual PE license. LA PE are allowed to carryover 15 professional development hours.
Pennsylvania Professional Engineer license renewals are due in September of every odd numbered year. PA professional engineers are required to complete 24 PDH each biennium with no engineering ethics requirement and not state law and rules requirement. PA PE are allowed to carryover 12 professional development hours into the next biennium.
